The resurfacing procedure removes the
stratum corneum of the skin (outermost layer of the epidermis) and sends heat to the
dermis, which stimulates the production of collagen, a protein that improves
skin firmness and texture.

As the skin regenerates again, the

Laser resurfacing can reduce
the appearance of fine lines on the face. It can also treat loss of
skin tone and improve your complexion. However, it cannot remove excess
skin or sagging.
